Evri Guide for UK Resellers
Evri (formerly Hermes) is the UK's biggest parcel network by volume, with more than 9,000 ParcelShops, a growing set of Evri lockers and courier collection from home. It takes parcels up to 15 kg with a QR code or printed label, and it is the only courier inside Depop Shipping.

How Evri works for resellers
Evri is the courier resellers turn to when a parcel will not fit an InPost locker. ParcelShops are counters inside convenience stores, supermarkets and petrol stations; since March 2026 Evri has also been installing its own lockers, which accept parcels up to 62 × 57 × 39 cm and print the label at the terminal. Together they add up to more than 11,000 drop-off points, with a target of 25,000 by 2030.
The limits are generous: 15 kg, a longest side of 120 cm, and a combined size (length plus twice the width plus twice the height) of no more than 245 cm. That covers coats, boots in boxes, bundles and most homeware. Standard delivery aims for two to four working days; Next Day is available if you drop off before midday.
Sending direct from evri.com costs from £2.62 to a ParcelShop or £3.04 to a home address for a small parcel under 1 kg, rising to £6.59 for 2–5 kg and £10.28 for 10–15 kg, all including VAT, tracking and £20 of cover. The letterbox-sized Postable service (up to 1 kg, 23 × 35 × 3 cm) is £2.70. On Vinted, eBay and Depop the marketplace sets the price and the buyer pays it.
Two habits keep Evri painless: ask for the ParcelShop receipt (or keep the locker confirmation), because tracking usually updates only at the evening collection, and check opening hours in the Evri app before you set off, because many shops close early on Sundays. Since March 2025 InPost lockers no longer accept Evri parcels, so an Evri QR code only works at Evri's own network.

Common Issues & How to Avoid Them
- Tracking shows nothing for up to 24 hours after ParcelShop drop-off, because parcels are scanned at the evening collection
- ParcelShop closed or full: opening hours vary and some shops refuse very large parcels; Evri lockers are the 24/7 alternative
- Standard compensation is only £20: upgrade cover (up to £999) for anything valuable, and note Postable parcels have no cover
- Longest side over 120 cm or combined size over 245 cm: the parcel will be refused at the counter
- Next Day is not available for every postcode and carries a surcharge in remote areas
