Whatnot UK Shipping Guide
Whatnot is a live-stream selling platform for collectibles, trading cards, comics and vintage. UK sellers must ship with the prepaid Royal Mail labels Whatnot generates; the buyer pays Whatnot for postage and the label is free to the seller on most orders.

How shipping works on Whatnot
Whatnot works differently from every other marketplace here: you do not buy postage at all. Every UK order gets a prepaid Royal Mail label generated by Whatnot, the buyer pays Whatnot for shipping, and for most order types the label costs the seller nothing. You must use that label, because sending with your own postage voids Whatnot's seller protection, and you are expected to ship within two business days of the show.
Before you go live, set up shipping profiles for the kinds of items you sell (single cards, slabs, boxed figures, bundles). Whatnot adds a buffer weight to each parcel automatically and uses Smart Bundling to combine multiple wins from the same buyer into one parcel, so you are not printing a label per item. Labels are printed at home; drop the parcels at a Post Office or book a Royal Mail collection through Whatnot, and sellers sending 250 or more parcels a quarter can arrange free scheduled collections.
International orders use DPD. InPost, Evri and Yodel are not part of Whatnot UK shipping. Because trading cards and collectables are fragile and easily bent, pack them in a toploader or rigid mailer inside the envelope, and remember that Royal Mail's Large Letter format (35.3 × 25 × 2.5 cm, up to 750 g) is the cheapest format Whatnot's labels use for single cards.
