UK Courier Prices by Weight 2026
How much does it cost to send a parcel with InPost, Evri or Royal Mail in 2026? Here is the full breakdown by weight when you buy your own postage, plus eBay's Simple Delivery rate card and Royal Mail's October 2026 price rise, so you always know which is cheapest for your parcel.

For thin items Royal Mail Large Letter is cheapest (from £1.55, or £2.90 tracked). For anything that fits a locker InPost is cheapest at £1.99–£3.99 by compartment size. For bulky parcels and 2–15 kg Evri is cheapest (£6.59 for 2–5 kg). Only Royal Mail goes to 20 kg (£13.70). On Vinted and eBay the buyer pays the marketplace's own price, so pick the courier that is easiest for you. Yodel's cheap heavy-parcel rates disappeared when it became InPost in July 2026.

Compensation included: InPost up to £500 but only £50 for second-hand items; Evri £20; Royal Mail Tracked £75 (untracked 1st/2nd Class £20). Evri describes its small-parcel rate as a promotional price with no published end date, so check evri.com before you book.
eBay Simple Delivery: what the buyer pays (from 1 September 2026)
Private sellers must use Simple Delivery on eligible items up to £750. The price depends on parcel size and the item's sale price, not on which courier carries it. If you offer free postage, the same amount is deducted from your proceeds.

Royal Mail online prices: what changed on 5 October 2026
Royal Mail raised prices on 7 April 2026 and again on 5 October 2026. Letter and Large Letter stamp prices did not change in October; parcels, Tracked, Special Delivery and Parcel Collect all rose. The current prices are in the right-hand column.

The buyer pays a price Vinted sets per carrier and size tier, shown only at checkout; Vinted publishes no price list. InPost is limited to the 2 kg standard tier; Evri goes to 15 kg and Royal Mail to 20 kg.
